Saltfish n Bakes
Saltfish n Bakes is a London based filmmaker and researcher interested in Old and New World stories and events. The Caribbean is the main focus telling stories about the region and its relationship with Africa, Europe and the Americas, sharing island and diaspora voices. For many the region's notoriety is almost "Disnesque" - with pirates, rum, white sand beaches and desert islands - stories from the European gaze, yet there are many compelling voices still to be heard. This filmmaker writes and directs original scripts for screen and audio, as well as documenting island and diaspora lives.
